At the beginning of his musical activities Bayley was the leader of a group of heavy rock worship in England, i Wolfsbane, but in 1994 the singer joins surprise to Iron Maiden won the place (left vacant by the historic singer Bruce Dickinson in order to devote to his solo projects).
With the British band Bayley has recorded the album in The X Factor 1995 and Virtual XI in 1998.
The following year, he recorded his first album with his new band, i Blaze, later renamed Blaze Bayley Band. Overall, in the post-Maiden he has so far recorded six albums (Silicon Messiah, Tenth Dimension, Blood and Belief, The Man Who Would Not Die, Promise and Terror e The King of Metal) due live (As Live as It Gets e Alive in Poland) and as many live dvd.
These works have all been well-reviewed by critics and allowed the singer to recover musically, after splitting from Maiden.
